□ What type of glazing is available?

We offer a range of glazing options: Standard clear glass, non-reflective glass, acrylic and UV protective glass. Please come in and ask us what option would best suit your needs.

We can also cut glass to size for your already existing frame, including oval frames.

□ Why choose acrylic over standard glass?

Acrylic is a light-weight, high quality plastic which has the same clarity as standard glass but less easily broken. An ideal option for larger pieces where weight and flex become an issue.

□ Is matting recommended?

On all works except Oil and Acrylic paintings, where glazing is not necessary either, matting is recommended. Matting, available in acid free conservation grade, keeps the glass from touching your piece allowing air circulation. It is also used to highlight specific colours in the piece that you wish to enhance, primarily to complement the piece but also to suit either your home or office.

Matting can also increase the overall size of a piece which may be a consideration.
